When we go green, we all benefit.
PAR Realty's green vision runs deep.
Why does a real estate firm care about green homes? Because nothing has more potential to help families, the real estate sector and the entire economy.
Families — What family wouldn't enjoy a break on their utility bills? When we support green construction, efficient design, Energy Star appliances and more we're reducing a cost burden for our family. We're also making it cheaper for other families to afford the same technology. It's a win-win.
Real Estate — It's no secret that demand for green homes continues to rise no matter what economic condition we're in. That's good news for the real estate sector, which employs thousands of people in our area.
Economy — When families get a break on their utility bills, what happens? They're buying school supplies, going to local restaurants and more. When more money moves through our local economy, we're helping shop owners, restaurants and more.
How we're helping.
PAR supports several green projects. Here's a taste of what's currently in the works:
- Get a Home. Give a Home. — We're helping to build an efficient home for Ms. Louida Fusilier through Habitat for Humanity. The house incorporates several efficient features designed to keep her utility bills as low as possible. Each time a PAR agent helps a client buy or sell a home, they donate to the fund. We're also volunteering on the project. Learn more at our Get a Home. Give a Home page.
- UL Event Home — How do we get more market-affordable green homes in Acadiana? By supporting projects like the UL Event Home. From the inspiration of the University of Louisiana's architectural program comes an incredibly efficient, incredibly affordable home. To help, PAR is listing and promoting the property commission-free. Learn more about it in the video below:
